He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnes and Sybil Buster Barnes; his wife Annie Barnes; his sons, James H. Barnes Jr. and Charles Ray Barnes; and his siblings, John Barnes, Jr., Billy Barnes, Helen Oglesby and Betty Jo Chambers.
He is survived by: his children, Billy Barnes of Texarkana, AR, Linda Oller (David) of Prescott, AR and Pam Pickrell (William) of Murfreesboro, AR; and his sister Dorothy M. Lansdown of Hope, AR. He is also survived by three grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
