He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hakes and Myrtle Cooper; and his brothers, Grady Rufus and Jessie L. Hakes. He is survived by: his wife Isabell Hakes; and his daughter Joyce Cox Cochran (Robbie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel (1001 S Main St, Hope, AR 71801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Rosehill Cemetery.
