He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Sanders and Ada Sanders; his siblings, Vicki Lynn Sanders, Kathy Sanders-Bass, Cecile Sanders-Lane, Jenny Duckett, Carolyn Russell, Frances Adams and W. T. Sanders; and his nephews, Billy Sanders and Mark Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Wayne Sanders (Misty) of Romance, Arkansas, Melissa Moore (Jory) of Genoa and Trish Steed (Jeffrey) of Spring Hill, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Jessica Hollinshead (Travis), Michael Jones, Alec VanFossen, Macie Lea Young, Kaden McBay (Betty), Timothy Wayne Sanders, Allison Steed, Kobe Steed (Abbi), Samantha Sanders, Mollie McBay, Dalton Moore and Parker Steed; his siblings, Bill Sanders, Rick Sanders, Joyce Black (Jimmy) and Brenda Watson; and his close friend Cheryl Biddle. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
