She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Landes and Lucille Landes; her husband Wade Applegate; her son Kenneth James Cox; her grandchildren, Kent Cox and Jade Cox; and her siblings, Tommy Landes, Jr., Bill "Wild Bill" Landes and Bobbie Landes.
She is survived by: her children, Sammy Cox (Peggy), Rebecca Cox, Roger Cox (Rebecka) and Andy Applegate (Misty); her stepchildren, Kenneth Applegate, Ray Applegate and Lisa Hollis; and her pets, Little Man and Tippy. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; forty one great grandchildren.
