She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sr and Julia Bond Sr.; her siblings, Eulah Jefferson, Mattie Jefferson, Mae Ola Wheaton, Henrietta Taylor, Beulah Sumlin, Lizzie Grier, Cleodis Boyd Sr., James Boyd Jr. and Thomas Boyd; her son Lee Birden Chaney; and her granddaughter Keisha LaShay.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Kay Chaney, Keith Eugene Chaney and Tyrone Chaney; and her sister-in-law Earlene Boyd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
