With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Gilbert of Hope, Arkansas, born in Fulton, Arkansas, who passed away on March 24, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gilbert and Ophelia Chism Gilbert; and his siblings, Elnora Goldman, Janet Jones and Al Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Bristow Gilbert; his daughter Karen Lowe; his granddaughter Callie Jenkins (Andrew); and his siblings, Linda Rosenbaum and Henry Dale Gilbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
