He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Isaacson and Mildred Isaacson (Deibert); and his stepfather Clifford Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Isaacson of Holiday Island, Arkansas; his children, Jason Isaacson (Shannon) of Bloomington, Daniel Isaacson of Holiday Island, Arkansas and Holly Turner (Robert) of Bloomington, Illinois; his stepson Derek Brueggemann of Trevor, Wisconsin; his grandsons, Patrick Tarrant, Harley Turner and Edward Turner; and his siblings, Kenneth Isaacson of Indiana, Rick Isaacson of Bloomington, Robert Isaacson of Rocky Mount, Virginia and Suzette Bergner of Bloomington, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
