He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Smith and Eva Marie Smith; his brother Ralph Smith; and his son Rodney. He is survived by: his wife Lynette Smith (Gariss) of Holiday Island; his sons, Randy Smith (Debra) of Holiday Island, Ron Smith of San Jose, California and Russell Smith of Redding, California; his grandchildren, Tiffanie, Mat, Joshua and Marisa; and his niece Valerie Gautieri. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
