She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Carpenter and Goldie Carpenter (Reynolds); her husband Boyd Bennett; her daughter Linda Sue Johnson; and her siblings, Vernice Tisdale, Shirley Miller and Clyde Carpenter.
She is survived by: her sons, Jim Bennett (Venita) of Alpena, Jerry Bennett of Harrison, Terry Bennett of Hindsville, Roger Bennett of Hindsville and Randy Bennett (Mary) of Hindsville; her brother Larry Carpenter (Eulena) of Forum; and her friend Merv Weaver of Wesley. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.
