He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson and Lila Duncan Johnson; his wife Sarah Ellen Stewart Johnson; and his sisters, Claudia Ferguson and Dorothy Hudson.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa; his son-in-law Thomas Stewart; his siblings, Marion (Carlene Johnson), Odell Johnson of Elkins, Doyal (Ima Johnson), Carl (Caroline Johnson), Joyce (Thomas Hinkle), Frances (Mickey White) and Bonnie (Tim Endacott); his siblings-in-law, Wanda, Ima, Donna, Linda, Becky, Marvin, Donald and Robert; his grandchildren, Chris Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Jaty Alston, Caschan Lane, Regina Philpot, Monica Hodges, Brittany Johnson and Jayla Alston; and his stepgrandsons, Travis Stewart and Thomas Stewart. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nephews and nieces.
