He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ellsworth and Vona Pearl Denny Roles; his wife Virginia Lee Roberts Roles; his daughter Sheila May; and his granddaughters, Alyssa Roles and Brittany Roles.

He is survived by: his son Dusty; his daughter-in-law Gabrielle Roles of Rogers; his grandchildren, Kyle Roles (Terissa Brown) of Rogers, Lyncoln Roles of Rogers, Sayward (Josh Poertner), Keysha (Billy Hudson) and Ryssa May of Conway; and his great grandchildren, Ethan Poertner of Cabot, Noah John Poertner of Cabot and Talan Hudson of Rogers.
