He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Self and Melva Self (Edgmon); his wife Verna M Croxton; his grandson Kevin Allen; and his great grandchild Clayton Matthew.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Embry (Allen) of Huntsville, AR, Janet Fawcett (Bill) of Fort Smith, AR and Laura Brasuell (Tracy) of West Fork, AR; his brother Noel Dean Self (Marie) of Springdale, AR; his grandsons, Matthew, Jacob, Ty and Joshua; his great grandchildren, Hallie, Luke, Mariam and Lucy; and his pet Lucy.
