He is survived by: his parent Norman Lunger; his wife Marjorie Ryan; his children, Julie Litchfield (Charan) of Petaluma and Kevin Ryan of Higginson; his grandchildren, Tyler Ryan and Parker Ryan; and his friend Charles Pittman of Searcy. He is also survived by cousin reared by his parents.
