He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Porter and Lula Mae Bolton Porter; his daughter Rita Faye Porter; and his siblings, Claude Porter, Loy Porter, Olga Porter, Nora Porter Walker, Ollie Porter Kincannon, Clovie Porter Harvell and Louise Porter Eddy.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Joyce Eddy Porter; his daughter Sharon Lee Porter Pearrow (Jon) of Timbo, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Kevin Atkinson of Timbo, Arkansas and Cindy Atkinson Williams (Brian); his great grandchildren, Emilee Williams and Nicholas Turnage of Mayflower, Arkansas; and his brothers, Jody Porter and Herman Porter of Jerusalem. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
