He was predeceased by: his father Robert Alex Burns; and his siblings, Bobbie Francis Frost, Jimmy and Jack Burns. He is survived by: his wife Anna Joy Shelly Burns; his children, Mike Burns (Lou) of Marked Tree, AR and Barbara Burns Dailey (Marty) of Richmond, KY; and his sisters, Margie Stinson of Carthage, MS and Pat Baumgarten (Richard) of Stone Mountain, GA.
