He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Armstrong and Gladys Armstrong; and his son Duke. He is survived by: his brother Jerry Armstrong; his children, Chris Armstrong of Hensley, Scott Armstrong (Sarah Armstrong) of Hensley, Mindy Armstrong of Lawrence and Shelly Armstrong of Lawrence, Kansas; and his former wives, Barbara Brooks of Truman, Jan Cassin of Lawrence and Tanya Ball of Hensley Arkansas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
