George Askins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Askins of Henderson, Arkansas, born in Sycamore, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Askins and Irene Askins (Tedford); and his grandson Bradley Montgomery. He is survived by: his children, Mike LaVigne (Kathy), Dan LaVigne (Margaret), Lynn LaVigne and Dawn Montgomery (Brad); his grandchildren, Abigail, Alyse, Candice, Patrick, Shannon, Jessica, Chance and Everett; and his sister Jean Keister. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
