It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Floyd Talburt Jr. of Henderson, Arkansas, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Floyd, Sr. and Carrie Maud Talburt (Shrable); his sister Oneta; his brother-in-law Leonard Sublett; his nephew Dwight Sublett; and his parents-in-law, Reble and John Kyner.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Talburt of Henderson, Arkansas; his children, Alan Talburt (Debbie) of Henderson, Steve Talburt (Tina) of Gamaliel, Arkansas and Anita Richardson (Doug) of Labelle, Florida; his grandchildren, Adam Talburt (Nicki) of West Plains, Kasey King (Matt) of Thayer, Jason Talburt (Valerie) of Roland, Erin Sisk (Jamie) of Searcy, Lucas Talburt of Roland, Sean Richardson (Amanda) of Greenbrier and Caitlin Richardson of Boston, Massachusetts; his great grandchildren, Cole Talburt, Addison Talburt, Isaac Talburt, Elsie King, Morgan King, Miriam King, Anna King, Owen King, Vivian Talburt, John Talburt, Avery Sisk, Bodie Sisk, Kai Richardson, Kohl Richardson, Kayne Richardson, Kwin Richardson and Kora Richardson; and his nieces and nephews, Shelly Peabody (Mike) of Memphis, Kevin Sublett (Sandy) of Birmingham and Ginger Sublett of Blanchard, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his loving family, many relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Barker Funeral Home (857 Hwy 62 W, Salem, AR 72576). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at the Custer-Herron Cemetery (14427 US-62, Henderson, AR 72544).
