He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobbie Claire Benton (Young) and Ike Benton. He is survived by: his former spouse Floydelle Pannell; his wife Eleanor "Pinkie" Powell; his children, Bruce Benton (Whitney) of Allen, Texas and Carla Benton of Allen, Texas; his grandchildren, Taylor Trevino of Dallas, Selah Benton of Allen, Texas and Davis Benton of Allen, Texas; his brother Neil Benton of Glen Heights, Texas; and his nephew Nathan Benton of North Hollywood.
Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing and masks will be required.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army.
