He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Smith and Rosa May Reynolds; and his brothers, Douglas Smith and Thomas Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lillian Bernice Alice; his children, Lillian Marie Long (Kenneth), Nathan Leon Smith (Darlene Hale) and Nathaniel Christopher Smith; his grandchildren, Christina Forrester, Jonathan Long, Kristal Smith, Tabatha Smith and Elizabeth Collums; and his siblings, Katharine Davis, Rosa Helton (Gregory), Brenda Reyna (Robert), Dale Smith, Virgil Smith, Arlin Smith and James Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
