He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wilson, and Teola Wilson, Sr. (Walters); his daughter Verna Gene Wilson; and his siblings, Vernell White, Alma Wilson, Robert Wilson, Jr., Will Charlie Wilson (Litha) of Minneapolis, MN and Mac Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Otha Wilson, Jr. of Park Forrest, IL and Willie Wilson of Chicago, IL; his sister Juanita Baker of Dallas, TX; his cousin Eddie Lee Robinson of Chicago, IL; and his close friend Lee James Soms of Brinkley, AR. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kincaid Community Center-East Chapel (1160 Springdale Rd, Helena, AR 72342). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Israel Chapel Cemetery.
