She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Alexander Armstrong, Jr. (Beth) of Greenwood, SC, David Warner Armstrong (Linda) of Prince George, VA, Charles Fletcher Armstrong (Becky) of Knoxville, Tenn and William Bernard Armstrong (Brenda) of Cleveland, TN.; and her grandchildren, Daniel Armstrong of Wilson, NC, William Armstrong of Memphis, TN, Joseph Armstrong of Johnson City, TN, Meelinda Armstrong Babb of Carson, VA, Jennifer Armstrong Belitz of Powell, TN, Laura Armstrong of Boulder, CO, Katie Armstrong Bosanko of Conway, AR and Chad Armstrong of San Jose, CA. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
