He was predeceased by: his father Elijah Marion; and his friend Mark McBride. He is survived by: his mother Martha Earlene Foster Whitted of West Helena; his children, Ryan, Candace Jones (Josh) of Manila and Jennifer Hall (Aaron) of Senatobia, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Mason, Daxton Jones, Kaylee VonKanel, Jaaron Hall and Raylnn Hall; his siblings, Daniel Whitted (Edith) of West Helena, Martha "Jennie" Yates (Melvin) of West Memphis, Evelyn Griffin (Howard) of Helena, Donna Batts (Charlie) of Marion and Sandra VonKanel (Jim) of Wynne; and his close friend Pam Simpson of Barton. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose.
