She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Chu See Lum; her husband Buck Fong Chu; her siblings, Tuck, Sam, Willie, Eddie, Oscar Young and Mabel Chu; her children-in-law, Bertha Chu and Macon Schwantz; her grandson Jack Schwantz; her children, Sharon (John Jiu) of Jonesboro, Dr. Charley Chu of Helena, Chris Chu (Jeff Chase) of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Sharee Schwantz of Azle, Texas; her grandchildren, Dr. Mark Chu (Rachel) of Bryant, Abby Jiu (Jamey Sunshine) of Falls Church, Virginia, Dr. Craig Chu (Bethany) of Shreveport, Collin and Seth Schwantz of Azle, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Stella Chu, Cooper Sunshine, Violet and Ollie Chu. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
