She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tom Temple and Ardelial Temple; her husband Charles L. Barnes Sr.; her siblings, Earnest Temple, Tom Temple, Milous Temple Sr., Bertha Lee Thomas and Clara McCray; her parents-in-law, Effie Lee Mayo and L. C. Barnes; her sisters-in-law, Leola Williams and Dorothy Moore; her children, Charles Barnes, Jr. (Yvette), Anthony Barnes and Christina Nelson (Patrick) of Helena; her sisters-in-law, Janie Temple of Minneapolis, Mary Mitchell, Betty Mooney (Charlie), Willie Mae Scruggs, Effie Bryant of Helena and Sixteen; and her godchildren, Mattie of Washington and Steven Cannon. She was also cherished by loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
