He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Yates and Charles Yates. He is survived by: his wife Stacy Yates; his sons, Charles Harvey Yates (Brandi) of Marianna and Jimmy Brett Yates of Lexa, Arkansas; his stepsons, Ron White of Little Rock and Collin White (Hayley) of Forrest City, Arkansas; his daughter Misty Lea Dissinger (Josh) of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Adalyn Finley, Odin Dissinger, Conrad Dissinger, Charles Yates II, Bowen Yates, Tobi Yates and Bretlee Yates; and his siblings, Jack Yates (Sue) of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Barbara Yates Freeman (James) of Little Rock, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Delta in Helena, Arkansas.
