He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Mixon Griffin and Frank Griffin, Sr.; his former wife Christine Wiekel Griffin; his son Michael Brooks Griffin; his great grandchild Lance Polk; his stepson Steve Johnston; and his siblings, Brooks Griffin and Ruth Marie Griffin.
He is survived by: his wife Ina LaWanda Lamb Griffin; his children, Frank "Skipper" Griffin, III (Janet), Ann Griffin and Michelle "Miki" Griffin Darling; his stepdaughters, Cindy Hodsdon (Geoff) and Deborah Lewis (Kyle); his grandchildren, Adam Griffin (Ashley), Josh Griffin (Cristen), Daniel Griffin (Mallory), Andrew Griffin (Brieanna), Lauren Curtis (John), Chauntel Polk, Leta Jordan (Cody), Audre Puckett (Nathan), Kara Hernandez (Jaime) and Casee Martinez (Ricardo); his stepgrandchildren, Deanna Cummings (David), LaCinda Stansbury (Mark), Stephanie Hampton (Brandon), David Klimek, Beaux Broach and Kayln Rose; his siblings, Maureen Thomas, Frances Ourso and Buron Griffin, Sr.; his daughter-in-law Sharon Griffin; and also Nancy Hall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
