He is survived by: his son Eddie Merritt; his daughter-in-law Heidi Merritt; his siblings, Frank Merritt (Dora) and Bertie Hulsey (Bob); his mother-in-law Ollie McWilliams; and his sister-in-law Peggy McWilliams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
