She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Carson and Wes Lee Nugent; her husband Luther Floyd Mitchell; her stepfather Albert Carson; her brother Elmer Joe Nugent; and her stepchildren, Luther George Mitchell, Martha Edwards, Doris Lawrence and Patricia Braden.
She is survived by: her daughter Amanda Louise Mitchell; her stepchildren, Everett Mitchell (Sue) of Helena, Vera Godwin of Helena and Mary Tipton of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; and her sister Mary Lee Williams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and friends.
