He is survived by: his children, Kevin Sykes of Oneida, AR and Latondra Sykes Ellison (Courtney) of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Chelsey Parker, D'Maggio Staple, Ajiah Brown, Kaleb Brown and Precious Ellison; his great grandchild Leah Jackson; his siblings, Bessie Vincent (Larry) of Chicago, IL, Ruthie Redd (late Elbert), Florene Sykes of Chicago, IL, Allean Sykes of Lexa, Joyce Brown (Gene) of Lexa, AR, Mack Sykes Sr. (Josie) of Chicago, IL, Joseph Sykes Sr. of Chicago, IL, James Sykes (Barbara) of Lexa, AR and Terrance Sykes (Alice) of Helena, AR; his aunts, Velma Sykes (late Joseph) of Chicago, IL and Celia Johnson (late Iziah) of Pine Bluff, AR; and his close friend Rebecca Gadlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
