Scruggs; her siblings, Charles Barnes, Leola Williams and Dorothy Jean Moore; her aunt Leola Jones; her siblings-in-law, Earnest Lee Mitchell, Garfield Mooney, Tony Mooney and Helen Barnes; her nieces, Patricia Mitchell and Vera Mooney; her husband Charlie Mooney; her daughter Shafaye Mooney Both; her grandchildren, Vikia Terry, Christopher Mayfield Sr., Laquisha Mayfield and Brandon Daniels Sr.; her sisters, Mary Mitchell and Willie Mae Scruggs; her parents-in-law, Vera Jones and Ellis Jones Both; her siblings-in-law, Ruby Sharp, Dorothy Spencer Both, Henry Mooney, James Mooney and Eric Wallard; her godchildren, Essence Bryant and Rashad Martin; and her close friends, Tracy Coney, Phyllis White and Evelyn Thomas.
