He was predeceased by: his parents, Lera Godwin and James Godwin; and his sisters, Robbie Staton and Barbara Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Vera Mitchell Godwin; his children, Aubrey Dale Godwin, Jr. (Vickie) of West Helena, Arkansas and Nina Evans of Rocky Mount; his goddaughter Mims Dunne of Arkadelphia; his grandchildren, Andrea Ramsey, Katie DeRoe, Edward Evans, Jr., Aubrey Dale Godwin III and Daphne Evans; his great grandchildren, Kaden Gripp, Kash Godwin, Logan Robertson, Joseph DeRoe, Lyric Evans and Kamryn Godwin; and his niece Annette Moneymaker. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
