He was predeceased by: his father James Russell; his stepfather Norman Gillies; and his mother Justine Brown of Canada. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Gillies; his siblings, Dennis Russell of Aldergrove, BC and Dale Eliason of Bridge Lake, BC; his half-sister Kathy Neilson of Canada; his children, Glen Gillies (Donna) of Russellville, Sherry Acosta, Tammy Kibler and Brandy (Robert Kotila); and his grandchildren, Darren Acosta, Ryan, Kate Kibler, Staci Aslakson and Tiffani Gillies. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
