He is survived by: his wife Jo Engle; his children, Jessica, Leon Jenkins of Tennessee, Patty Pierce of Little Rock, Jennifer, Edgar Hamman of Atkins, Kerrie Davis of Hot Springs, Justin Engle of Russellville, Matthew Gideon of Oklahoma and Bobby Gideon of Oklahoma; and his siblings, Wilma, Jerry Thacker of Hector, Donna Darter of Atkins, Alice Herring of London, Evelyn Pittman of Jacksonville, Mary Malone of Alabama, Delbert (Becky Chatman), Johnny Bates of Dover, Jimmy Bates of Dover and Michael Bates of Dover. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
