With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Thurman Bittle (Heber Springs, Arkansas), who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thurman Bittle and Ocie Fern Knapp Bittle; and his wife Betty C. Appleberry. He is survived by: his children, James Weston Bittle (James Benton Moon) of Seneca, Brenda Bittle of Drasco, Angela Acord (Henry) of Hackett and Wendy Harris (Nick) of Coalville, England; his sisters, Norma Jean Martin (Sherlon) of Heber Springs, Kay Davis Goree (Lloyd) of Heber Springs and Kathy Moody of Tumbling Shoals; and his grandchildren, Bryan Seymore, Jared Seymore, Shawna Weaver, Joshua Woodson, Micah Small, Catherine Acord, Emily Harris, Jessica Harris and Madelyn Harris. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and wonderful friends.
