He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Begley, Sr. and Nettie Patterson Begley; and his wife Maggie. He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Rackley (Jerry) of Ida, Patsy Wilkinson (R. D.) of Heber Springs and Linda Stark of Drasco; his sister Leann McCallister of Houston; his close friend Pauline Hill; his grandchildren, Taylor Carroll, Ben Stark, Jamie Ott, Shari Langley, Jody Rackley and Carrie Rackley; and his great grandchildren, Karlie Stubbs, Nicole Rackley, Jaylea Hooten, Leo Stark, Anna Belle Stark, Maggie Ott and Kenedy Ott. He is also survived by des many nieces, nephews and friends.
