With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tommy McHan of Heber Springs, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 97. Though Tommy has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. McHan Sr. and Lula Jane Warbington McHan; his son Thomas A. McHan III; and his siblings, Dorothy O. Richardson, Gladys Lawson, Clara Roy, Albert McHan, Dr. Frank McHan and Paul McHan.
He is survived by: his wife Syble Beatrice Rogers McHan; his sons, Ronald Crawford McHan and Byron Keith McHan (Ronda); and his sister Verna Conway of Monticello. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (201 N 4th St, Heber Springs, AR 72543).
