He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maxwell Galt, Sr and Mildred Toliver Galt. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Carol Harris Galt; his children, Robert Maxwell Galt III (Dianna) of Heber Springs, AR and Amanda Greer Galt of Maumelle, AR; his sisters, Sandra Nelling of Maumelle, AR and Ginger Rousseau of Maumelle, AR; and his grandchildren, Kenzie Galt, Brystol Parker, Garron Parker and Robert Maxwell Galt IV.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
