He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Alton Kirkland and Betty Jo Moore Kirkland; and his grandparents, Hilton and Aneth Coaplen. He is survived by: his wife Vicky Linda Middleton Kirkland; his sons, Jonathan Kirkland of Kissimmee, Eric Goforth of Smithville and Jesse Goforth of Smithville, Arkansas; his siblings, Ronald Richardson of Florida, Robert Richardson of Florida, Cynthia Kirkland of South Carolina and Deborah Kirkland of Georgia; and his grandson Michael Goforth.
