He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Oswalt and Dorothy Oswalt (Godown); his brother Donovan Oswalt; and his son Sterling Oswalt. He is survived by: his close friend Ruth Ann Needels; his daughters, Crystal Oswalt Pontious (Garrett) and Coral Small (Derek); his grandchildren, Benjamin Small, Dan Oswalt (Meghan) and Katie Oswalt; his great grandchildren, Noel and Micah Oswalt; and his sister Janice Kress.
