It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester McGuffey of Heber Springs, Arkansas, born in Marcella, Arkansas, who passed away on September 17, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie McGuffey and C. Ethel McGuffey (White); his former wife Jane Dobbins McGuffey; and his brother Melvin McGuffey. He is survived by: his stepson Wesley Davis of Imboden, Arkansas; his daughters, Patricia White (Robert) of Southside, N. Diane McGuffey of Las Vegas, Mellissa Wilson (Kenneth) of Cave City and Kimberly J. Hedin (Robert) of Atlanta, Georgia; his stepdaughter Sandy Richardson (Eric) of Heber Springs; his grandchildren, Jason Davis, Jonathan White, Jessica White, Justin Wilson, Kerrie Wilson, Shane Davis and Misty Wood; and his great grandchildren, Eli, Owen, Benjamin Davis and Oliver Gilmore. He is also survived by his loving wife of 26 years, whom he married.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines, all attendees must provide and wear their own masks, and social distancing will be observed.
