He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Mitchell and Nearly; his siblings, Ada Raney and Tatum Bittle; and his children, Monica Griffith (Roy), Todd Bittle (Andria), Shannon Reid (Jason) and Karen Stephens (James). He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
