It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Louis Hotz Jr. (Heber Springs, Arkansas), born in Delphos, Ohio, who passed away on October 18, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Margie Eickholt Hotz; and his brother Don Hotz. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rainer Hotz (Pat); his children, Dove Hotz of Oregon and Benjamin Hotz of California; his brother Wayne Hotz (Bonnie) of Missouri; his stepdaughters, Stacy Opitz (Don) of Hot Springs and Sharon Messer (Andy) of Conway; his stepgrandchildren, Janelle Rogers (Ryan) of Maumelle, Lauren Taylor (Kyle) of Ward, Zachary Opitz of Benton and Austin Messer (Olivia) of Huntsville; and his stepgreat-grandson Mason Taylor of Ward.
