He was predeceased by: his parents, Gurvas Marrs (Buddy) and Ayline Vise Marrs; his wife Marva Jo; his brother John Marrs; and his brother-in-law Bill Shupe.
He is survived by: his children, April Christine and David Jonathan of Heber Springs; his son-in-law John Todd of Rockwall, Texas; his grandchildren, Dakoyta and Rylan of Rockwall, Texas; and his sister-in-law Frances Shupe of Arlington, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
