He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James of Washington and Dewel Simpson James; and his wife Kathleen James. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy James of Bellflower and Melanie James (Randall Guynes) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; his siblings, Roland A. James of Heber Springs, Arkansas, Sonya Counts of Round Rock and Janice Griffin of Little Rock, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Sawyer James and Sara James; and his stepchildren, Valena, Mike and Joe. He is also survived by children, along with many friends.
