She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Edward Sammis and Leona Stiles Sammis; her siblings, Jack Sammis, George Sammis and Jean Spence; and her son-in-law George Rogers.
She is survived by: her significant other Ken White; her daughters, Melanie Rogers of Edgemont and Susan Chafin (Brad) of Little Rock, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Emily Davis (Trent) of Spring, Nick Chafin of Little Rock and Riley Chafin of Memphis, Tennessee; and her sister Mary Cosby (Danny) of Russellville, Arkansas. She is also survived by sister and brother in laws, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gathering Room (415 W Main St, Heber Springs, AR 72543).
