He is survived by: his sons, James Anderton II (Jennifer) of Floral, Samuel Anderton (Nikkie) of Judsonia and Eric Anderton (Dana) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; his sister Pamela Szalajka (Mitch) of Huntly, Illinois; his grandchildren, Robert Anderton, Jonathan Anderton, Dylan Anderton, Liston Reed, Nathaniel Anderton, Samantha Anderton, Ethan Anderton, Caitlyn Ryals, Ellexis Anderton, Mary Grace McGee and Cameron Marek; and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Sofia, James "Buddy", Jonathan Jr., Freja, Emma, Liam, Oaklyn, Rylee, Savannah, Olivia and Marcie. He is also survived by many extended family members and great friends.
