He was predeceased by: his siblings, Teddy, Terry, Mike, Bobby, Sue Ann, Marilyn and Judy.

He is survived by: his wife Cleta Hines George; his daughter Debra Givhan (Victor) of Rockland, CA; his siblings, Joe George (Donna) of Harveysburg, Ohio, Carol Blankenship of Wilmington, Maryannette Meadows (John) of Corpus Christi and Vicki McCarren (Denny) of Wilmington, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Jacara and Jayden Givhan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
