He is survived by: his mother Nellie P. Watkins; his spouse Frankie M. Haggard; his children, Shannon E. Ragland and Richard D. Thomas; his siblings, Doyle Thomas (Bev), J. C. Thomas (Lori), Pat Garner, Johnny Haggard (Karen) and Marguret Lawson (Ricky); his grandchildren, Chelsea Ronning (Patrick), Cheyenne Thomas, McKenzie Regan (Chance), Hunter Thomas and Mathew Ragland; and his great grandchild Jayden Ronning. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
