She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sweeney and Mattie Tackett Sweeney; her husband Luther Allen Chalk; her daughter Barbara Taylor; and her grandchildren, Sonja Taylor, Kimberly Bailey and Scotty Bailey.
She is survived by: her son Roger Chalk (Brenda); her son-in-law Richard Taylor; her granddaughters, Rena Shrum (Bryan) and Tina Coger (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Candace, Kimberly, Steven, Jeffrey and Nicholas. She is also survived by six great great grandchildren other relatives and many friends.
